(Nee Holmes) On Tuesday, October 22, 2002, after a courageous battle with cancer, peace came to Cynthia as she slipped gently into His embrace, at the age of 76. Predeceased by her very special angel, Connie. Sadly missed by her loving children Donna Poupart (Gerry), Susan Lamarre (Marc) and by their father William Russo. Also loved by her grandchildren Matthew, Jean-Marc, Dana, Nicholas, Timothy, Cristina, Daniel, and 2 great-grandchildren Emily and Justin. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Thursday, October 24 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 25 at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions to the Quinlan Centre, 171 Donald Street, Ottawa would be appreciated by the family.
