(O'Shaughnessy) It is with great sadness that her family announces her passing on October 23, 2002 in her 45th year after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Ken Partington and deeply loved mother of Brodie Thomas of Ottawa. Dear daughter of Peter and Vera O'Shaughnessy of Brockville and daughter-in-law of Brodie and Eva Partington of North Battleford, Sask. Mary will be greatly missed by her siblings Michael (Inez), Patrick (Ramona), Peter (Nora), Martha (Sandy), Tom (Mary Lynn), Sharon (Michael), Sheila, Anna (Dominique) and sister-in-law Susan Lewis (Andrew). Fondly remembered and cherished by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and by a large circle of friends. We are all so grateful to have known her. We will miss her very much, she left us far too soon. Family and friends are invited to a Ceremony in Celebration of Mary's life on Saturday, October 26th at 11 a.m. at the Irving Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. The family will receive friends at a reception to follow. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Heart Institute will be gratefully acknowledged.
