It is with great sadness that we announce Jack's passing on October 24, 2002 in his 73rd year. He was a kind, gentle and compassionate man who served as a shining example of humanity at its best. Dearly loved and cherished friend of Carol and Robert Ramaglia. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends, especially Father Benidict. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitations. A grave side service and interment of his cremated remains will take place at Notre-Dame Cemetery, Ottawa on Friday, November 1st at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at Jack's home. For those who wish, donations to the Cardinal Leger Foundation (Leprosy), 130 l'Epee Avenue, Outremont, Qc, or Doctors Without Borders, 720 Spadina Avenue, Suite 402, Toronto, Ontario, will be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Berthiaume Funeral Home Ltd., 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury (Ontario). The Ottawa Citizen, 30-10-2002
