After a courageous battle with cancer, in hospital Perth, Saturday, October 26, 2002 Archie Foster in his 68th year (served 37 years with the Lanark County Roads Department). Son of the late David and Isobel Foster. Loved brother of Jean Ferguson (Don Card) of Perth and Earl (Dianne) Foster of Stayner. Husband of the late Ada (Jackson-McInnes) Foster and dear friend of Eleanor McInnes. Fond uncle of Ernie (Donna) Ferguson, Charles Ferguson, Kelly (Greg) Steckroat, Michelle Foster, Michael (Patricia) Foster and great uncle of Gracie Lyn and Adam Steckroat and Sarah and Derek Ferguson. Archie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends and neighbours. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth Tuesday, October 29, 2002 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
