Lt. Commander R.C.N., CD (retired) Carleton University (retired) Peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus on Sunday, October 27, 2002 age 84. Son of the late Edward and Myrtle Harper. He is survived by his wife Doris, children Judith, David (Anna), John (Nancy) and Deanna Mahood (Paul). Much loved grandfather of Alex, Greg, Cheryl, Jennifer, Nicholas, Daniel and Adrienne. Predeceased by brothers Roby and George. Survived by sister-in-law Mickey and sisters Caro and Margaret. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Thursday, October 31, 2002 from 11 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at noon. A private interment will be held at Beechwood Cemetery in the section of the National Military of the Canadian Armed Forces.
