4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus Peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Pavilion on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at the age of 76. Beloved son of the late Thomas George and the late Delia Lecuyer. Former husband of Rita Dion. Dear father of Paulette Lamoureux (Rejean), Helene George, Harold George Jr, the late Garry (Monique Avon) and Jo-Anne George. Also loved by his grandchildren Lynne, Bobby, Danny, Sophie, Josee, Darlene and his great grandchildren. Dear brother of Laurence, Rita (Lucien), Cecile (Roger), Richard (Lilianne) and Roland. Predeceased by 2 sisters Shirley and Lilly and 1 brother Henry. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame de Lourdes (Vanier), 435 Montreal Road, Ottawa on Friday, November 1, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment Notre-Dame Cemetery.
