A gentle man, retired partner of Osler, Hoslin and Harcourt, former solicitor for North York and Queen's Counsel Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre Newmarket on Tuesday, October 29, 2002 in his 89th year. Stewart Rogers of Aurora, husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Margaret Oliver and beloved father of David W.O. Rogers and his wife Joanna Cygler of Ottawa, and John S. Rogers and his wife Sherrill of Keswick. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Brenda, Karine, Mark and Joel Rogers, Adam Cygler, Laura Harding and her husband Jay, Beth Buckmaster and her husband Michael and great-grandchildren Mack, Declan and Kent Harding. Brother of Benson T. Rogers. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Thursday from 2-4 p.m., Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 79 Victoria St., Aurora on Saturday at 11 a.m. with visitation at church from 10 a.m. followed by cremation.
