Mary Isabel HEWITT

After a courageous battle, Mary passed away on October 31, 2002 at the Jewish General Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Ivy Hewitt. She is survived by her cousins Jean of Winnipeg, Manitoba and James of Mississauga, Ontario and her dear friends Heather Copeland and Shirley Courtis of the Town of Mount Royal, along with many other relatives and friends in Canada and the U.K. Following her retirement from London Life Insurance Company, Mary became a very active volunteer in the Town of Mount Royal and was involved in Unity of Montreal, serving as Treasurer of that congregation for many years. Many thanks to Rysia Gluchowski and Heather Ross for the special care and compassion given to Mary during her long and difficult illness. Donations to Unity of Montreal or to the S.P.C.A.
