Of Champion, Alberta passed away suddenly 10 kilometers south of Vulcan of Highway 23 on November 1, 2002 at the age of 52 years. She is survived by her loving husband Bill of Champion, her son Christopher (Caroline) Foley of Fort Collins, Colorado, her father John E. Newman, a sister Charlene (Allen) Whale, a brother John (Darlene) Newman, numerous nieces and nephews all of Ottawa, Ontario. Lonnie was predeceased by her mother in 1991. Memorial Service Friday, November 15, 2002 at the Pinecrest Cemetery Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Dan Dubroy officiating. If friends so desire, tributes in Lonnie's memory could be made to either the Alzheimer Association of Alberta 218A, 2323-32 Ave., N.E.
