CD, (Major-6th Hussars, Ret'd) At Maxville Manor on Sunday, November 3, 2002. Grant MacGillivray of Maxville, age 96 years, formerly of Kirk Hill, Montreal, Belleville and Almonte. Long-time soldier in the Black Watch and the 6th Hussars and a Bell Canada Pensioner. Predeceased by his beloved wife Amanda and two daughters June and Audrey. Survived by two daughters Myrna (Don Meyer) of South Carolina and Jean (James Morrow) of Lanark, two grandchildren, Donna (Italo Bozzo) and Craig Baxter (Cathy) and four great-grandsons, Kevin and Alex Bozzo and Adam and Mathew Baxter. Son of the late Duncan A. MacGillivray and the late Ethel Grant, B.A. Funeral service will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Kirk Hill on Thursday, November 7, 2002 at 2 p.m. Family will be in attendance at the church from 1 p.m. until time of service.
