B.Eng, M.Eng, P.E.O. Retired from Mech. & Aero. Eng. Dept. Carleton University Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 4, 2002 in his 70th year. Son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Mieczyslaw and Eugenia Brzezina. Beloved husband of Janina. Cherished father of Bernadette, Greg, Christopher (Joan) of Sydney, Australia, and Matgorzata (Zbyszek) of Wroclaw, Poland. Dear grandfather of Sylwia, Tomek, Shaun, Anique and Nicole. He will be missed by family in Poland, friends in Europe and here in Canada. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Rehabilitation Centre and the ICU at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly funeral Home, 585 Somerset Street (centretown) Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday to St. Hyacinth's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. In memory of George, donations to the Rehabilitation Centre, 505 Smyth Road, Ottawa would be appreciated.
