Chief Aeronautical Engineer Department of Transport 1947-64 Chief Commander Canadian Power Squadron 1967-69 Peacefully at Briargate Retirement Centre, Amherstview on Monday, November 4, 2002, Howie Rees of Kingston in his 99th year. Beloved husband of the late Vivien White. Dear father of Sylvia (Julian) Hawryszko and Robert Rees. Dear brother of Edith Morrison and Nora Whyte. He will be missed by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be in the Chapel of the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin Wednesday at 3 o'clock. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 1 o'clock until the time of the service. His favorite charities were the Royal Military Colleges Club of Canada Foundation, P.O.
