(Veteran WWII) Peacefully in hospital on Thursday, November 7, 2002 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Nettie (nee Emmerson). Beloved uncle of Rick McTiernan (Micheline). Special great-uncle to Montana and Chance. Dear brother of Grant (Anne), Doris Scheuneman (Martin) and the late Margaret McCracken (Ron). Friends may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
