Peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Center, on Thursday, November 14, 2002, in his 82nd year. Dear husband of Georgia. Loving father of Phyllis (Tom Palangio), Ellen Bell (Kelly Searson) and Georgia Jno-Finn. Proud grandfather of Thomas, Alissa, Teresina, Amanda, Joshua and Isaiah, and great-grandfather of Daniel and Christopher. Predeceased by his sisters Verna and Wanda. He will be missed by his brother-in-law Tom Backus, several nieces and nephews and his extended family. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Rd. (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Monday, November 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, from 12 noon until Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation.
