Peacefully on Monday November 18, 2002 at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, Janet MacGillivray (nee Nixon) of Kirk Hill, Ontario at the age of 79. Beloved wife of 57 years to Bill MacGillivray. Loving mother of Jim and Cathy (Gifford McNaughton) both of Dalkeith. Dear grandmother of Mike (Cora), Jason (Wendy), Alison (Eddie), Melanie (Michael), Jeremy and great-grandmother of Rebeckah, Shawna, Matthew, Liam, Kyla, Kristen and Shawna. Dear sister of Christina, Ida, Shirley, Lorne and Myrna. Predeceased by her sisters Bertha and Margaret and her brothers George, Roy, Stanley, Clifford and Melvin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may pay their respects at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street (corner of Stanley Street) Vankleek Hill on Wednesday, November 20 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday November 21 in the funeral home at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Kirk Hill United Church Cemetery, Kirk Hill, Ontario.
