August 5, 1948-November 18, 2002 "Big Al" Distribution Superintendent, Provincial Lines, Zone 4 Hydro One Too soon for all who knew him. Al Scott at age 54 lost his brief battle with malignant melanoma at home in Perth with his family by his side. Remembered and loved forever by his best friend and wife Susan, daughter Heather and husband Brent (Strachan), son Alex and fiancee Cory (Butterworth). Dear son of Doug and Lova Scott of Alliston. Cherished brother of Peggy (Rick) Pleasance, and Barb (Craig) Clarke-McCoy. Loved son-in-law of Clare and Helen Ludlow. Fun loving uncle of Jennifer (Ali), Craig (Tricia), Andrew, Kevin, Nathan, Devon, Laura and Emily. Al will be fondly remembered and missed by a fantastic "gang" of friends. He was highly respected by Hydro One colleagues across the province. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Perth on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Donations to Melanoma Research (Canadian Cancer Society) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
