(Dennis). Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2002 at the age of seventy, being the first patient admitted to the West Island Palliative Care Residence (WIPCR). Survived by her beloved husband George and her daughters Sherilyn (Sean) and Darlene (Rod) and grandchildren Kelly, Kristy, Olivia and Cale who surrounded her during a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her son Gary. A memorial service will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, on November 22, 2002 at 11 a.m. Donations to the WIPCR may be made, whose staff and volunteers offered much comfort and compassion during this difficult time.
