Suddenly at Perth, Tuesday, November 19, 2002, Gordon A. Coutts in his 81st year. Beloved husband for 55 years of Edna M. Murphy (Coutts). Much loved father of Barbara Ann (Bob) Haslam of McDonalds Corners, Susan (John) Nibourg of High River, Alberta and Jo-Anne (William) Kirkham of Perth. Cherished grandfather of Tara and Shane Haslam, Johan, Katrina and Holly Nibourg and Benjamin, Sarah and Ericka Kirkkam. Dear brother of Helen (George) Cartwright of Montreal, Bill (Lois) Coutts of Balderson, Ken (Dora) Coutts of Rideau Ferry and the late Gladys (Norman) Barber. Gordon was a dedicated member for 37 years of the Perth Lions Club and retired from the Lanark County Roads Department; he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by the Murphy family, his nieces, nephews, friends and fellow Lions members. Friends may their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, on Friday, November 22, 2002 from 2 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's Church, Perth, on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
