(R.N. Retired) On November 20, 2002 in the Glebe Centre at the age of 89 years. Gertrude Villeneuve, daughter of the late O.B. Villeneuve and Margaret Hyland. Loving wife of the late Jean Marie Desormeaux. Dear mother of Ed Major (Valerie), Rose Prud'homme (Noel). Predeceased by daughter Anne Milloy. Predeceased by brothers Ben Edward and Emery Villeneuve and sisters Jean (Mrs. Gerald Blanchfield) and Betty (Mrs. Earl Eppstadt). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Paul, Julia and Geoffrey and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to celebrate a mass of Christian Funeral on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 12 noon to Our Lady of Fatima Church (Woodroffe and Byron). Interment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Donations in Memory to the Alzheimer Society, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa, or the Canadian Cancer Society, 1745 Woodward Drive, Ottawa, greatly appreciated by the family.
