May 20 1920- November 20 2002 Passed away peacefully at Carleton Lodge on Wednesday evening. Predeceased by her husband George T. Whitfield of Bancroft, Ontario, and her parents Walter and Mae Hollyoake. Ruth is survived by her three children who will miss her dearly; Georgia Roberts (the late David), Kathleen Whitfield (Cliff Fletcher), and Tom Whitfield (France Dupuis). She enjoyed the company and love of her five grandchildren; Matthew Roberts (Jennifer Collins) of Toronto, Julie Whitfield-Huszarik, Karen Roberts, Chloe and Hugo Whitfield, and grampa, the Venerable Matthew King Roberts, all of Ottawa. The family wishes to thank the staff of Carleton Lodge, especially Guylene for their kindness and care. Funeral services will be held in Bancroft, Ontario, in Baragar Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday 23 November at 1pm. Visitation is from 7 to 9pm Friday and from noon to 1pm Saturday. In lieu of flowers the family asks that should you want to make a contribution, please do so through the George T.
