L Col. (Retired) CF/RCN It is with sadness that the family of Thomas Jones announces his passing in Ottawa, November 21, 2002. Born in Ottawa May 25, 1927, son of Joseph Jones and Mary (McCann). Predeceased by his wife of 30 years Phyllis Mae (Bourgeois). He is rememberd with love by his daughters Victoria and Catherine (Henk Prins) and his son Alan (Loreina). Loving Grandpa to Jennifer, Laura, Bryanna and Christopher. Sadly missed by his sisters Mary (Don McInnis) and Catherine (Leo Gora) and brother Murray (Gertrude). Predeceased by brother George. Fondly remembered by his niece Marsha and nephews Michael, David, Donald, Joseph, Kevin, Ian, Steven, Paul and Christopher. Also missed by many close friends and extended family in Nova Scotia. Many thanks to the caring staff at Stillwater Creek Retirement Residence and for the compassionate support of the palliative care givers from the Community Nursing Registry. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore & Baseline Rd.) on Monday November 25th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church, 3891 Richmond Road at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
