At the Northumberland Health Care Centre, Cobourg on Friday, November 29, 2002. Bernice Irene DeGuire (nee Thornton) was the beloved wife of the late Jacques DeGuire. Dear mother of Sandra Reisch and her husband Sebastian and Roland DeGuire and his wife Linda. Grandmother of Jeffrey, Adele, Elizabeth, Andrew, Joanne, Leanne and Mark. Great Grandmother of Jeremy, Ian, Henry, Alison, Aaron, Nicholas, Vienna, Stephanie, Melanie, Dominique and Annie. Sister of Frances Dwelley, Shirley Merrithew, Joan Middlemiss and Russell Thornton, also William Thornton, predeceased. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Michael's Church, Cobourg on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. Following cremation, interment at St. Theresa's Cemetery, Dunham, Quebec. Friends may call at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. East, Cobourg on Sunday, December 15 from 7-9 p.m. If desired, memorial donations by cheque to Children At Risk would be appreciated by the family.
