(Retired - Playtex, Arnprior) Peacefully in her sleep at Pakenham on Friday morning, November 29, 2002. Rita Marie McKie of Arnprior at the age of 86 years. Dear daughter of the late Washington Fairfield and of the late Josephine Payer. Beloved wife of the late Stanley McKie. Dearly loved mother of Terry (late Dorothy) of Carleton Place, Georgina Wall (Jack) of Pakenham, Diane Currie (Michael) of Arnprior, Catherine Bahm (Dalton) of R.R. #2, Arnprior, Donna Lytle (late Don) and Robbie (Ruth Ann) both of Arnprior, Rodney (Ralph Vachon) of Aylmer. Predeceased by a son Dwight and a daughter Christine. Dear sister of Grace Cleroux (late Leon) and Jacqueline Belanger, both of Ottawa and Charlotte Leitch (late Merv) of Braeside. Predeceased by 4 brothers: Gaetan, Rejean, Richmond "Patty" and Roger Fairfield as well as 2 sisters: Josephine "Babs" Colton (Eddie of Braeside) and Frances Sales (Jim of Arnprior). Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Monday morning, December 2nd at 10 o'clock. Interment Malloch Cemetery.
