Of Hammond, Ont., on Friday, November 29, 2002 at age 82. Husband of his first wife, the late Gertrude Lalonde and his second wife, the late Cecile Gaudreau. Son of the late Isaac Wattie and the late Eva May Brown. Dear father of Edna (Adrien Paquette) and Shirley (the late Alan Armstrong). Loving grandfather of Lise (Rick Sabourin), Carol Paquette (Henry Phillips), Robert Wattie (Josee), Chris Wattie (Josee) and Charlene Armstrong. Great-grandfather of Justin, Jessie, Ariane, Zachary, Chloe and Alexis. Brother of Alex (Wilda), Anthony (May), Agatha (Alex Lauzon), Pearl (John Kennedy), Viola (the late Howard Arbuthnot) and Annie (the late Les Gibson). Will be fondly remembered by his friend Rita Cardinal and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son Chuck (Lucie), two sisters, Madeline (the late Wilfred Dupuis), Kathleen (the late Carson King and three brothers, Earl (Beatrice Lalonde), Edward (the late Ena) and Leonard (Claudine). The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre for their good care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 to St-Mathieu Church in Hammond, Ont. at 11 a.m. Family will meet relatives and friends 30 minutes prior to the Service at the Church.
