Peacefully at home on Saturday November 30, 2002 after a full and joyous life and a brief battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Ron MacKay. Loving mother and friend of Susan and her husband Rob Thacker, Jane MacKay and her partner John Marlatt and Laurie and her husband Greg Jarvis. Dearly loved and devoted grandmother of Stacy, Tammy and James. Dear sister of Everet Rea of Richmond, Ontario. Forever missed by family and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday December 7, 2002 at Hopedale Presbyterian Church, 156 Third Line, Oakville. Special thanks to palliative care of Dr. Leslie, all nurses from Paramed, Jacki of the V.O.N., visitors from Hopedale Presbyterian Church and to friends and relatives who all made her feel so loved and cared for.
