Peacefully, Bob left us on Monday, December 2, 2002 at the age of 69. At his side was his beloved wife of 46 years Doreen (nee Bache). He fought a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. He faced each challenge with resolute and optimistic spirit. His brave good humour was appreciated by us all and made the diffcult times easier to bear. He will be sadly missed by his adored daughters Terri-Lee Kelly (Michael) and Brenda Gayle Bielicki (Peter) and grandchildren Alan Brad and Stephanie Kelly, Conrad, Alexander and Miranda Bielicki. Will also be missed by his dear sister Lenore Hewson (Brian). Many thanks to Dr. Stewart and his team at the Regional Cancer Clinic and for the compassionate care provided by the doctors and nurses in Palliative Care at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre. The family will receive friends at St-Martin's Anglican Church after 1 p.m. Friday followed by a Service in Memory at 2 p.m. Donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or to the SCOHS Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre appreciated.
