R.N. Peacefully, after a valiant 22-year battle with cancer, at her home in Rideau Ferry on Monday, December 2, 2002. Helen (Hildebrand) Churchill, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife for 45 years of the Reverend Dr. Allen Churchill. Cherished mother of Christine, Thomas and Matthew Churchill. Devoted grandmother of Meagan Southward and Torin Churchill. Sister of Elizabeth Calyn, Anne (David) Winter, Teenie (Sieg) Wall, Mary Dyck, Agnes (Neil) Pauls, Esther (Alan Janzen) Krahn, Martha (Jack) Pauls, Phyllis (George) Pauls, Jerry (Marjorie) Hildebrand and Dan Hildebrand. Helen will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and other valued family members. Friends may pay their respects at Dominion Chalmers United Church, 355 Cooper Street (at O'Connor), Ottawa from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, then at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Perth from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. An Ecumenical service will be held in Asbury Free Methodist Church Perth on Saturday, December 7 at 11 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
