Passed away suddenly at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, on Monday, December 2, 2002. Douglas Alford Ross (D.A.) (Retired Air Canada Pilot and World War II Veteran) of R.R. #1, Lancaster, age 82 years. Beloved husband of Barbara Morrison-Watkins and by a previous marriage the late Eunice Moore-Ross. Dear father of Randy Ross (Suzanne) of Williamstown, Sherida Harris of Vancouver, B.C., Stephen Ross (Janet) of Bai D'Urfe, Quebec, Mary Seager (Randy) of Guelph and Karen Ross (Paul) of Pointe Claire, Quebec. Dear step-father of Richard Watkins (Lynne) of Ottawa and Judy Tessin (Wayne) of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Dear son of the late Douglas George Moe Ross and the late Mary Witty. Dear brother of Irma (Mrs. Walter Mutchler) of Morrisburg and Warren Ross (Wilma) of Sherbrooke, Quebec. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak Street, Lancaster, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of the Funeral. The Funeral Service will be held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, South Lancaster, Ontario on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Ian MacMillan officiating. Interment Rideau Memorial Gardens, Dollard-des-Ormeaux. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation on Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
