Peacefully, surrounded by her children, Tuesday, December 3, 2002 Gladys Mae Pearce age 82. Beloved wife of 62 years to H. Alan Fournier. Mother of Christopher (Liz), Susan (George Charron), late Robert, Alan, Thomas (Jean-Guy Desjardins), Ruth (Shawn Sweeney), Ann (Fred Meelker) and Mark (Deborah). Grandmother of Julia, Jennifer, Ann-Marie Fournier, Robert, Christine, Greg and Bryan Charron, Hassan and Mathew Monfils and Christopher, Harrison, Patrick and Owen Meelker. Great-grandmother of Jack and Aiden McLaughlin and Olivia Cej. Daughter of the late Mabel and Jack Pearce. Sister of Harvey Pearce. Baseball fan, perfectionist (even with 8 children), always a lady and much beloved by all. Thanks to the caring and dedicated staff of the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre.
