Veteran W.W II. Peacefully in hospital on Wednesday. December 4, 2002, age 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Naomi Payne and the late Ethel Scott. Loving father of Dixie Atkinson (the late Bill) and Diane Price (Howard Dayton). Dearest and devoted grandfather of Angie (Ervan), Rick (Tina), Shelley and Jamie. Dear great grandfather of Ryan, Connor, Lauryn, Bryce and Evan. Survived by brothers Fred, Father Joseph and sister-in-law Margaret Scott. Special thanks to the staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital and Carolyn Nicol. Friends may visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Friday, December 6, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday after 11 a.m. until Service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
