Passed away suddenly on December 8, 2002 in Toronto. Beloved daughter of Valdis and Zenta Stengels of Ottawa. Loving sister to Daina (John) Brown, dear aunt of Julie (Jonathan) Frankel and great aunt to Nicole. Predeceased by her husband Larry MacFarlane in April 2001. A private funeral service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street followed by interment at Beechwood Cemetery. The Ottawa Citizen, 12-12-2002
