Peacefully at the Pembroke General Hospital on Monday, December 16, 2002 in his 85th year. Joseph Ethier of Westmeath, beloved husband of Vera Ethier (nee Gervais). Dear father of Murray Ethier of Pembroke, Michael Ethier (Madeleine) of Ottawa, Raymond Ethier (Leona) and Ralph Ethier (Tammy) both of Westmeath. Loving grandfather to Chad, Kevin, Brent Ethier, Lowana Chaput (Tom), Paul Lagrave and Gregory Baker and great-grandchildren Jack, Krystal, Chelsea and Dustin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Laurette Couturier (late Emard), Emmett Ethier (Shirley), Vivian Gilchrist (late Jack), Frank Ethier (Claire), Earl Ethier (Joan) and Lillis Couturier (Vern) all of Westmeath. Son of the late Alex and Mina (nee Gagnon) Ethier. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday after 9:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning December 18 at 11 o'clock in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westmeath.
