Passed away at the Chateau Gardens Nursing Home, Lancaster on Tuesday, December 17, 2002. Anastacia Pavlounis; formerly of Alexandria and Amikli, Sparta, Greece; age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Vasilious Pavlounis. Dear mother of Louis Pavlounis (Georgia) of Alexandria, Terry Pavlounis (Brenda) of Apple Hill and Olga (Mrs. Anastasios Voutianis) of Greece. Predeceased by one son, Dimitrious (Jimmy) Pavlounis and one grandson, Vasilious (Billy) Pavlounis. Dear daughter of the late Theodoros Asimakopoulos and the late Anastassia Sografou. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria on Wednesday, December 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Trisagio Prayer will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be celebrated in Kimissis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 1315 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa on Thursday, December 19, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment, Pinecrest Cemetery.
