(nee Browne) Peacefully at West End Villa Nursing Home on Saturday, December 21, 2002. Wife of the late H. Tom Carson and loving mother of both Jon Carson and Erica Joynt. Grandmother to Darren and Stephen Joynt and Anders and Sven Carson. Special great-grandmother to Ashlee, Emilia and Daniel. Predeceased by her brother Eric Igelstrom Browne (Marion). Predeceased by her father Ernest George Browne and her mother Mabel Browne (nee Igelstrom). Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. An Honourary Life Member of the IODE, Council of Women, Home Economics Association and The Perley Hospital Volunteers. She was extremely active in these organizations and dedicated many hours throughout her life. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. The Ottawa Citizen, 24-12-2002
