Jean Marjorie PHILIP

(Feb. 5, 1901 - Dec. 26, 2002) Peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte, Ontario on Thursday, December 26, 2002 in her 102nd year. Jean Marjorie Philip predeceased by sisters Grace Philip, Edith Rivington, Nell Main, Elizabeth Thomson, Olive Montgomery and Merle MacRae. Jean will be greatly missed by her nephew, great nieces and nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews. Jean was born and raised in Bennies Corners, spent most of her life in Ottawa and was a survivor of the Almonte Train wreck in 1941. At Jean's request there will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Rev. S. Derek Shelly officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.
