(Veteran WWII, founding member of Polish Combattants Association) Peacefully, in hospital on Friday, December 27, 2002 at the age of 91. Boleslaw Raczka, beloved husband of Leokadia Bloch. Dear brother of Zofia Dias. Fondly remembered by many friends and relatives in Canada and Poland. Mr. Raczka will be remembered for his many acts of charity and his generous donations to those in need. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent St. from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Hyacinth's Church (Louisa & Lebreton Sts.) followed by private cremation.
