(World War II Veteran, Respected Businessman of Osgoode Township, Past President - Metcalfe Lions Club, Past President - Metcalfe Curling Club, Member of the Executive of the Ottawa Winter Fair, Founding Director and Past President of the Ottawa Valley Hackney Futurity). After a lengthy battle against alzheimer's disease on Monday, December 30, 2002, Gordon Morrow of Metcalfe at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Doris (Forget) and the late Phyllis (Anderson). Dear father of Debbie Payne of Kemptville and Don Morrow of Edwards. Step-father of Ron Gallinger and Karen Benoit (Chad). Loving grandfather of Tiffany Bertrand and Ainsley Shields; Devon Morrow; Jodi and Sara Gallinger; Joey and Samantha Benoit. Brother of Sadie Biccum of B.C., Eleanor May, Evelyn Shore and Helen Sunstrum, all of Ottawa, Bert (Brenda) of Calabogie and the late Doris May, Richard, Lloyd, Neata, Isabelle, William, Donald and Arthur Morrow. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Duncan Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 6971 Bank Street, (formerly Highway 31, between Scrivens Drive and Metcalfe Corner) from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Thursday in the Chapel for Service at 1 p.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. Special Thanks to the staff of the Perey & Rideau Veterans Health Centre and the Township of Osgoode Care Centre for excellent care over the past five and a half years.
