BUIE, Nellie (McLeod) In loving memory of Nellie (McLeod) Buie, 66 years, who passed away Friday evening, September 6th, 2002 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved wife of Bill Buie of Sudbury. Loving mother of Sherry (husband David Soroko) of Coniston and Kim (husband Raimo Vuorensyrja) of Sudbury. Cherished grandma of Samantha, Mandy, Kelly, Chris and Alicia. Dear daughter of Alexander and Eva McLeod both predeceased. Dear sister of Kay Brown of Stratford, Marion Prestage of New Liskeard, Thelma Longarini of Sault Ste Marie and Jim of Ice Lake. Born in Ice Lake, where she married Bill in 1955. She worked at the Bank of Montreal for 18 years then with Bell Canada for 13 years, retiring in 1992. Nellie was devoted to her family especially her grandchildren. Funeral Service in the Providence Bay United Church, Manitoulin Island, Monday, September 9th, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Grimesthorpe Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Soul Cancer Services would be appreciated. (Friends may call at the church after 1 p.m. Monday).
