ESHKAWKOGAN, Robert Peter Lorne "Gimmaa-Ke" In loving memory of Robert Peter Lorne Eshkawkogan "Gimmaa-Ke", 42 years, who passed away Saturday, September 7th, 2002 at the Wikwemikong, Manitoulin Island. Lorne was born in Manitowaning in 1960. He married Linda Jackson in Wikwemikong in 1993. Lorne was a self employed mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and friendship. Lorne was an active participant in The Rain Dance Ceremonies acting as "The Grandfather". He will be greatly missed by his wife, his children, his family and many, many friends. Beloved husband of Linda (Jackson) Eshkawkogan of Wikwemikong. Loving father of Lorne Jr., Angel, Leroy, Gertrude, Alanna, Frankie, Lorelei, Deanna, Tiffany, and Lindsay (predeceased). Dear son of Ivan and Jeannette (Desmoulin) Eshkawkogan of Wikwemikong. Cherished grandfather of Riley, Lindsay and Brandon. Sadly missed by brothers Boniface (wife Mary Ann), Jay, Darren, Cecil (friend Arnelda), Steven, and Eugene (wife Natalie). Fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Raymond Jackson (wife Yvonne), Johnny Jackson (wife Gladys), Laura Jackson, Olive (husband Terry Wabegijig), Eva Jackson, Zaben (husband Lloyd Recollet), Tillie Jackson, Violet (husband Ron Rivers), Tommy and Ron. Dear nephew of Charlotte Desmoulin, Millie Desmoulin, Archie Desmoulin and Yolanda Desmoulin. Predeceased by uncles and aunts; Jerome Desmoulin, Leona Desmoulin, Lillian Desmoulin and Ronnie Desmoulin. Best friend to Lloyd Recollet and Gerry Kaboni. Sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Funeral Mass at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong, on Thursday September 12, 2002 at 11 a.m. Interment at the Wikwemikong Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME. (Friends may call at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday).
