PILON-GIRARD, Marie-Reine "Irène" (née Demers) The family announces with sorrow her death Friday September 13th, 2002, in Sudbury, at the age of 80 years. Daughter of the late Ernest Demers and of the late Marguerite Demers (née Chartrand). Wife of the late Albert Girard and of the late Paul Pilon. Loving mother of Pauline Audette (husband André) of Dowling, Viola Viau (husband Ernel) of St. Charles, Jocelyne Pilon (partner Robert Belisle) of Windsor and Denise Lee (husband Ollen) of Callander. Dear sister of Gabrielle Nadon (husband Oza predeceased), Jeanne Labute (husband Adrien predeceased), Réal Demers (wife Jeanne predeceased), Gilberte Gauthier all of Windsor, Hubert Demers (wife Agnès), Alphonse Demers (wife Denise) all of Manitoulin Island, Agnès Pitre (husband Zéphir predeceased) of Sudbury and Claude Demers (wife Pauline) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her sister Lorraine Lamarche (husband Germain of Sudbury) and by her brother Paul-Henri Demers (wife Jeanne D’Arc predeceased). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren Yvon, Carole, Céline, Roger, Normand, Gilbert, Diane, Suzanne, Mélanie, Roxanne, Paula, Gregory, Jason Michael, Jason Robert and by 22 great grandchildren. Predeceased by one great-grandson Jonathan. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., East (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday September 16th, 2002, at noon in the Bishop Roger Despatie Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury.
