VERKUIL, Lowell Theodore Steven In loving memory of Lowell Theodore Steven Verkuil, 18 years of Dowling who passed away Monday morning, September 16th, 2002 at the SRH - St. Joseph’s Health Center. He was born in Fort McMurray. Lowell came to Dowling as an infant. He was working at Bernie’s Bobcat and enrolled in completing his secondary school diploma. He was a gifted mechanic who liked to work on cars, snowmobiles and bikes. A happy "homebody" he enjoyed hunting and fishing. In the darkness of this tragedy the light of his great smile and positive personality will bring comfort and hope to his loving family and many friends. Beloved son of Jody (Gregoire) Verkuil of Dowling and Gerald Verkuil of Fort McMurray Alberta. Loving companion of Terry Montpellier. Special brother of Beau-Ashley, Peghan and Jory Verkuil; step brother to Katie, Robin and Chris O’Bryne. Cherished grandson of Steve and Cora Verkuil of Ft. McMurray, Audrey and Ted Gregoire of Dowling and great grandmother Thelma Day. Sadly missed by Verkuil family members in the Netherlands. Dear nephew of Terry Gregoire of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Andrew and Ella Golosky of Ft. McMurray. Dear cousin of Lauren, Adrian, Tanya, Charlo and Cal. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Thursday, September 19th, 2002 at 2 p.m. Interment in the Maplecrest Cemetery, Dowling. Donations to the Heart & Soul Campaign would be appreciated.
