Entered into rest at his residence, Ottawa, on December 1, 2002. Edward Read Gairns of Ottawa, age 74 years. Edward was formerly employed by the Brown Rigg Trucking Firm, delivering the Ottawa Citizen to the rural areas. Survived by friends Betty Ireland, Shirley White, Ann Parmelee and Bill Whiteside. Very special friends of Edward were the late Viola and Kenneth Wells. A Graveside service for Edward will be held at St. James's Cemetery, Maitland, on Saturday, May 10th, 2003 at 11 a.m. Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville (613-342-2792) entrusted with the arrangements.
