Peacefully on December 19, 2002 at home in White Rock, B.C. in his ninety-third year. Beloved husband of Alice (Tritton) and the late Kate (Westhorp). Dear father of Mary (Doug Lang) and Virginia (Malcolm Herdson), grandfather of Susan & Callum; Janet, Andrew & Jennifer, great-grandfather of six. Sid was an active ham radio operator for sixty-five years with call letters VE2LV, VE3GOQ, VE7BYX; a fifty year member and Past Master of Royalmount Lodge #117, a WW II veteran, commanding a radar station in North Africa; retired from Sun Life Assurance Co. in 1972. Funeral held in White Rock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
