(nee Garfinkle). Born in Toronto, May 14, 1917, died December 28, 2002. She was predeceased by her son Mark (January 1998), Louis, her husband of fifty-eight years (March 1999), and her daughter Sarah (October 2002). She is survived by her son Larry, wife of Barbara Lipton (Toronto) and his children Chris and Carmen; daughter Deborah, husband Michael Smith, and their children Genevieve, Crispin and Jordan (Montreal); daughter-in-law, Terry Azar (Toronto); daughter Lois, husband David Iljon, and their children Alex, Tzvia and Daniella (Toronto) as well as many nieces, grandnieces, grandnephews and great-grandchildren. In accordance with Hilda's wishes, there will be a cremation and no service. The family wishes to thank all the relatives, friends and neighbours who provided kind support to the family over the past difficult months. Family and friends are invited to visit the Alder-Iljon home at 372 Manor Rd. E., Toronto on Monday, January 6, 2003 between 3 and 8 p.m.
