(nee Pilon) Peacefully, Lucie left us on December 30, 2002 at the age of 42. At her side was her beloved husband of 20 years, Brian. She fought a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. She faced this challenge with resolute and optimistic spirit. She will be sadly missed by her adored daughter Christine and son Grant. Will also be missed by her mother Rita Pilon, brother Paul and sister Martine Lavallee and other relatives and many friends. Many thanks for the compassionate care of Dr. Schroder, and nurses Bruce, Colleen, Francine, Jean (nee Rejeana), Maria, Noreen, Renald and the other nurses and staff in attendance in Palliative Care at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Care Centre. Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Ontario on Saturday, January 4th, 2003 as of 10 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m. The family welcomes friends to a reception at the Heritage Funeral Home immediately after the service.
