RAF Veteran Member of Royal Canadian Legion Strathcona Branch 595 Peacefully at his home on Monday, December 30, 2002 at the age of 87. Dearly beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Thomson). Dear father of the late Mary Bevan (Ivor), Catherine Riggs (Robert), Jeanette Smith, and the late James Smith. Also loved by his three grandchildren Jeanette Pryor (Eric), Ian Riggs (Nancy), Stephen Bevan (Gwen) and her 5 great-grandchildren Ian, Tara, Jamie, Cailey and Grace. Dear brother of Audrey Wright of Morpeth, England. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Friday, January 3rd from 10 a.m. until service time in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
