Carol Olive DUPUIS

nee Olive Tragically on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 the result of injuries sustained in a car accident on Christmas day. Carol (Olive) Dupuis, age 42 years, beloved wife of Michel Dupuis and loving mother of Alexander. Dearly loved daughter of Lawrence and Ann (nee Farrell) Olive and sisters Linda (Randy Graham) and Sandra (Roy Montpetit). Cherished aunt to Rob and Vanessa. She will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Carol held the position of Secretary-Treasurer of the Office and Professional Employees International Union in Washington, DC. Prior to her appointment she held the position of service officer for her union local in Toronto, ON and later in Ottawa, ON. Her career in labour began with her employment at the Union of National Defence Employees in 1979. Friends may visit at the St Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Sunday, January 5, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 518 Donald Street, Ottawa on Monday, January 6, 2003 at 1 p.m.
