FAGANELY, Rada M. (nee Vuk) 76 years, Friday morning, April 26, 2002 at the SRH - St. Joseph Health Centre surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Ivo (Ivan) Faganely of Sudbury. Loving mother of Romano (wife Paulette) of Sudbury, Robert (wife Lori) of Sault Ste. Marie, Vilya (husband Jerry Pawlowski) and Tomie (wife Laurie) both of Sudbury. Proud and very supportive Nona of Cindy (husband Chris Minnett), Tonya, Sarah, Jennifer (fiance Trevor Larmondin), Kyla, Stephanie, Lee-Anne, Ryan, Lucas and Jeremy. Dear daughter of Franc and Teresa Vuk predeceased. Dear sister of Tomo, Savo (wife Helena), Mila, Marta (husband Sergio) and Mirian (husband Yosko) all of Slovenia, and the late Branka and Bojana both predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy and Slovenia. Rada came to Canada in 1952 settling in Sudbury in 1954. She was a devout Roman Catholic who attended Lord of the World Church and sang in the parish choir. People in the community will remember Rada as the friendly provider at Paganely’s Pizza, an establishment that existed for four decades and remembered today for Rada’s food and warm smile. Rada embraced life on a daily basis she had many interests which included swimming, travelling, gardening, knitting, hooking rugs and blueberry picking. She spent many happy times at her cottage on Lake Nipissing. Rada was devoted to her loving family especially her grandchildren. She was a keen supported and fan of her grandsons’ hockey teams and her granddaughters various sports and activities. Rada lived the lessons of Jesus as a caring shepherd and good Samaritan for her family and many friends. Her light will be well remembered on earth as she now shines as a star in God’s heaven. Rested at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. Funeral Mass was held in Lord of the World Church, 2080 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, Monday, April 29, 2002. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. 5/2/2002- ID290359 - Sault Star
