Elizabeth Helen ARMIT

ELIZABETH HELEN MCBRIDE Elizabeth Helen McBride, 72, of 1809 5th Ave. E., International Falls, Mn., passed away at Falls Memorial Hospital in International Falls. She was born Dec. 3, 1929 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Alex and Leona Armit. She grew up and attended school in Fort Frances. In 1948, she was united in marriage to Robert McBride and moved to International Falls. She enjoyed golf, Bingo, four-wheeling, and card playing. She also was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Patrick (Naomi) McBride of Hoyt Lakes; daughters, Diane (Ron) Wright of International Falls, Debbie (Keith) of Duluth, and Donna (Tom) Fairhurst of International Falls; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Roy Armit of Fort Frances, Richard Armit of Dryden, and David Armit of Minneapolis; and sisters, Dodie Wickstrom, Joan Krukowski, and Lynn Armstrong, all of Fort Frances. She was predeceased by her father and two grandchildren. Visitation will be held Monday, March 18, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at the Green-Larsen Mortuary in International Falls, with vigil prayers at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Catholic Church in International Falls. Interment in St. Thomas Cemetery.
