MARCEL EDWARD JOSEPH CHABOT In memory of Marcel Edward Joseph Chabot, who passed away suddenly at Lake of the Woods District Hospital on March 9, 2002, due to a long battle with cancer. He was born July 24, 1935 in Fort Frances, Ont. He was 32 when he moved to Thompson, Manitoba, where he worked for International Inco for 40 years until he retired. He then moved to Redditt, Ont. Marcel is survived by his wife, Judith Lynne Chabot; step-daughter, Lisa (Babe) & Don Gauthier, grandchildren, John, Michael, Stephan, Don Jr., and Stephane; step-son, Clifford and Tammy Bruyere, grandchildren Warren, Rae Ann, Justice, Jennifer and Joshua. Also surviving from his previous marriage Shannon Jackway, son, Albert, daughter, Debbie (Terry) England, Brenda Lee (Tom Moore), and son-in-law, Luke Wellwood and eight grandchildren. He also is survived by his brothers, Cyril (Eleanor), Emile (Delores), Robert (Julia), Paul (Roberta); sisters, Rose Chabot and Cecile Asselin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; daughter, Mary Ann Wellwood; two brothers, and three sisters. A memorial service will be held at the Emo Legion on Friday, March 15, at 1 p.m.
